What is involved
What a regular visit covers.
Every visit follows the same sequence, top down and dry before wet, so dust that is knocked off a shelf is picked up later rather than walked through.
We cover the whole of the Wirral for this, including West Kirby, Hoylake and Heswall. Tell us your postcode and we will confirm the detail for your street.

Kitchen
Worktops cleared and wiped, sink and taps descaled, hob and splashback degreased, fronts of units and appliances wiped, floor washed last. Inside the oven and inside the fridge are separate jobs and are not part of a regular visit.

Bathrooms
Bath, basin, shower screen and tiles cleaned and rinsed, toilet cleaned inside and out including the base and the cistern, mirrors and chrome polished dry so they do not spot, floor washed.

Living space and bedrooms
Surfaces dusted and wiped, mirrors and glass, skirtings and switches spot cleaned, floors vacuumed including under what we can move by hand, hard floors mopped. Beds made if the linen is left out.

Bathrooms first
Products go on the bath, screen, tiles and toilet and are left to work while other rooms are done. Chemistry needs time; scrubbing immediately is doing its job for it.

Worktops cleared and wiped front to back, sink and taps descaled, hob and splashback degreased, unit fronts and appliance faces.

Back to the bathrooms
Everything rinsed off, chrome and glass dried by hand so they do not spot, floor washed on the way out.

Dust before floors
Surfaces, glass, skirtings and switches through the living space and bedrooms. Anything knocked loose lands on the floor, which has not been done yet on purpose.

Floors last, back to front
Vacuum throughout, then hard floors mopped, working towards the door so nothing is walked back over.
Why the order matters
Cleaning in the wrong order means doing rooms twice.
Almost every complaint about a cleaning visit comes down to sequence rather than effort. Dust falls. If bedrooms are dusted after the floors are done, the floors are dirty again by the time the front door closes, and it looks like nothing was vacuumed at all.
The same applies to bathroom products. Limescale remover and mould treatments are chemistry, and chemistry needs dwell time. Putting product on and immediately scrubbing it is the slowest possible way to get the worst available result, which is why the bathrooms are started first and finished last.
This is also why a fixed round beats an improvised one. When the sequence is the same every visit, the time it takes is predictable, and anything unusual in the house stands out rather than getting lost in a general tidy.

Good questions
Regular cleaning questions.
A regular round keeps a house level. It does not reach grout, oven interiors or the backlog in a property that has been let, which is what these are for. Deep cleaning, End of tenancy cleaning, Oven cleaning.
How long does a regular clean take?
A three bedroom house with one bathroom is usually two to three hours once the routine has settled. Two bathrooms adds most of an hour on its own, which is why we ask about bathrooms rather than bedrooms when we price it.
Will it be the same cleaner every time?
That is what we aim for, and it is most of the value in a regular arrangement. Where holiday or illness means someone else attends, we tell you beforehand and they work to the same written round rather than starting from scratch.
Do I need to be home?
No, and most regular work happens with nobody in. We agree how we get in when the work is booked, whether that is a key, a key safe or someone letting us in, and the arrangement is written down rather than assumed.
What products do you use?
Ours, unless you would rather we did not. If you have an allergy, a pet, a stone worktop or an oiled floor, leave out what you want used and tell us. We would rather use your product than damage your surface.
Is inside the oven included?
No. The oven interior is a separate job with its own method and its own time, and putting it inside a two hour visit means something else gets dropped. It is on the oven cleaning page.
Do you do ironing or change beds?
Beds are made, and remade if the clean linen is left out. Ironing is not part of a cleaning visit. If you want it, say so before we price the round so the time is actually in there.
What if I need to skip a week?
Tell us as early as you can and we will move it. A skipped visit usually means the next one takes longer, particularly in the kitchen, so we will say if it needs the extra time rather than rushing it.
Can you clean while I am working from home?
Yes, and it is common. Tell us which room you will be in and we will work around it, doing that room first or last. A vacuum is loud, so it helps to know when your calls are.
